Answer to the question G: I worked there in the early 60's around 1962/3
The days when spirits were further watered prior to the mixers. The Plants would have the occasional evening out together, and not lacking class as a pair when they dressed to go out. Meaning that I as a 17 year old would run all three bars, busy or not busy for the evening!
I did think that the Tudor bar was a really nice bar to take your girlfriend. Perhaps the best bar of its kind in west London....ok, Chiswick
