Tricky because the permission that's due to expire only relates to the first floor, so obviously pegs can't be laid in the ground, initial foundations dug etc. Not ideal, but can anything be done in terms of work to the roof of the garage which would need doing to be able to progress the first floor extension ? - the structural side of thing isn't my forte, but from a planning interpretation of commencement I'd be looking at something like that to trigger commencement in order to preserve the permission. |
