Can I assume you are using Microsoft (which I treat like the plague)? With POP3 you have the options of leaving emails on the server and/or saving them locally or deleting them entirely. If they have been saved they are probably saved end-to-end in an MBox format file which should be easy to transfer (unless stored encrypted, when you may need the file exported as an archive). An IMAP server may store all emails individually in MDir format, but that should not worry you, it should just work. |
