Peculiar. My understanding of Miele is that they simulate a 25 year washing cycle under testing, which is why they last so long (incidentally removal men hate them as they're so heavy; the two most hated brands are Miele & AEG due to the weight of the motors). So it seems strange that yours should be "irreparable" after only 11 years. I think it would be worth getting a second opinion especially as they're so expensive to replace, and because they really should be good for 20+ years. |
