| Some parks have Friends groups. Each and every one needs them now otherwise we will have no green spaces. It is worrying that Metropolitan Open Land is being used for private schools and playing fields. Nothing wrong with the land being used on a temporary basis but history keeps getting re-written by Councils and Governments. Perhaps there should be signage on the land stating who the land belongs to. If a private school goes bust the land needs to come back to the people and not be sold off with the school. |
