Does make me laugh when people get on the high horse over governments and think the opposition are better and would not allow these things to happen. And im not posting this sitting on one side of the fence. Its just to make a point to which a few think its the nasty party and anyone else would be the saviour. None of them are perfect, lets put it that way rather than a rant one way without answers. I can make a list of things that went down under Labour, but lets get some simple facts out. Under the total time Labour was in office, manufacturing fell from a share of 18% of the economy in 1997 to 10% by 2010. Up to the end of Tony Blair’s premiership it fell to 11%. No previous stint of government for any party since 1970 saw this level of decline from start to finish. Lets putt it in simple terms... Down, not up. Im sure Labour and Corbyn suddenly have all the answers and this would not be happening. "Oh crikey no,not on your nellie, matie. |
