| Thank you to all those who expressed a degree of empathy particularly Elizabeth Ross and Larry Stanford. Without them all I would despair. I remember so clearly the Pathe News in the cinema of the 1950's and the Displaced Persons camps and the utter hopelessness on the faces of those people. The stories coming through on the news from the countries of the Middle East and Afghanistan are indeed horrendous. If your home had been blown up and your neighbours beheaded and sisters raped and your life and that of your children threatened and you were unable to fight back with no weapon would you not flee and seek sanctuary elsewhere? Where is your humanity? |
