Will be a while yet I think. I don't think they would have the knackers to do it. That will probably be so bad that the result could well finally be the end of the unions. Way of the world though. Just as factory workers were replaced in the height of industry train drivers will one day go the same way. Can't stop technology when it becomes a more efficient way to operate Fast forward 50 years and you will probably do well to see a bus driver, taxi driver or even a roadsweeper out on the roads. |
