That is good news but it begs two other questions - does that mean the area can't be used for any other building - if not, I suggest the people who use it most push for it to be designated a protected area as I believe Southfield Playing Fields now is (although there was a proposal to build a cafe there so I guess it means building is possible but needs more permissions).

And secondly, is any other green space going to be commandeered instead for the school?  I am not very trusting of councils, I am afrsid.
