| Are they archaic? Jury seems to be out re long term effects and whether they lead on to taking harder drugs. I agree that alcohol is a drug which is always the argument of the pr-legalisation of drugs lobby. Personally I would like to see all drugs that don't seem too harmful (ie not heroin etc which I hope you would agree should be illegal, Andy, priced at about four times the level they are now. Many people would have to think twice about buying a bottle of wine, which is probably no bad thing. But some would say that discriminates against the poor. Personally don't see it discriminates any more than housing, food, and other aspects of life 'discriminate.' |
