Jill, a couple of years ago a wood pigeon flew into our french doors and knocked himself out. He came round and wandered round the garden but couldn't fly, no obvious damage to him so we put him in the shed overnight with food and water to keep him from being dinner for the foxes. I took him to a place in Wallington, called Riverside Animal Rescue, the next day and they took him in and said it was concussion. He was fine in another couple of days - but what was really funny, the fence around the outside area of the centre had about ten pigeons sitting on it. I asked about them and I was told that they were previously rescued birds that just kept coming back! |
