You might think about asking the freeholder/managing agent if you can have the ground rent invoiced at the same time as the service charge thus one total payable. A one off adjustment would have to be made but after that, no problem. Easier for f/holder & you and is the norm as far as I know. Better still see if it's worth going for a share of freehold which should add value and a ground rent will not apply. |
