Yes I understand it that way and believe it to be close to the truth. Its a long debate and goes back to ministers of religion to Doctors etc. You have to think carefully about selfish and selfless. I believe that Mother Teresa was truly selfless - most others 'do good' because it makes them feel good themselves. Therefore they are not selfless so they are in fact selfish. |
