The modern equivalent of the log book is the computer-printed Vehicle Registration Document, identified by the stylised letters V5C in the top left-hand corner of the front page. This will have been sent by the DVLA to the present owner when he bought the car. Regarding the tyre wall, it may not be legally repairable if the integrity of the tyre has been damaged - any tyre fitters, such as Iverson or Kwikfit, will be able to look at it and, if it is repairable, fix it. |
