Topic: Google Maps changes

Anybody else struggling with the changes that Google have wrought to their maps? Never the most reliable, especially if needing pedestrian details, they now seem to be unusable. I have made several unsuccessful atempts to get directions from a railway station to my intended destination and it simply defaults to starting from Chiswick.

Assuming that this will continue, does anyone have a good alternative? I resorted to the AA which at least still uses the old version of Google. Would hate to have to use Bing!
