That's funny, MPs wanting to investigate why hospitals would give their staff a pay rise. Cos like, running a hospital is dead easy compared to rocking up to the house of commons and staying awake long enough to walk through the right door.

Maybe the multi million pound budgets of your modern hospital should be administered by any old idiot, rather than someone with a proven track record who just happens to have a pick of high paying jobs.

I'm not saying it's right, but the double standards around pay are really quite amazing sometimes.
