Tough one to call. Demand is high as the neighborhood is very desirable and more and more people are being pushed out of central London. Sounds crazy to think of Chiswick as being cheap but there you go. On the other hand I just don't see how this is possibly sustainable. If you have a professional couple making say £100K and £70K respectively then you might qualify for a mortgage around £700K - right now that would get you a two bedroom flat. Good luck to anyone with a family who didn't already get on the ladder before things went astronomical. I'd say it's a bubble but I've been saying that for years and keep getting left behind... |
