I think you're confusing the issue Charlotte. If it was stolen to order then it wouldn't be advertised for sale, it would now be with the person who ordered it! If it was (more likely) victim of an opportunistic theft then it may well be offered through online sites or local pet shops. But generally dogs listed as 'rescue' won't be for sale (in my experience it's usually a donation to charity instead), so not a great business plan if that's what's happened. Regardless of what actually happened or the motives of those involved, surely the Police have been through the CCTV, of which there is plenty on CHR. Wasn't there a similar incident last year with a dog being taken from outside Sainsbury's and the culprit identified on CCTV very quickly? Fingers crossed for a similarly happy ending. |
