Sorry it should have read use Windows Explorer which I have pinned to my taskbar. First you need to look at the Folder Options (in Control Panel) and check the box to view hidden folders. Then from the Start Menu click on Computer, then double click C:, then Users and so on following the path...User Name\App Data\Roaming\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\User Pinned\Taskbar. In the taskbar folder is a list of all the shortcuts on the taskbar, and if the one you used to have is there should be able to right click and unpin it or delete it. Have you tried to drag and drop other website favicons from the IE address line onto the desktop? Pin to taskbar is a right click option on the desktop shortcut. If you are not that familiar with navigating folders, then it may be best just to use Home pages or the favourites bar to display your websites. |
