Is it only me, or is there a contradiction in the original post? That is, Mr. Corcoran admires Mr. Mansfield's work in one field (defending Irish accused etc), whilst mistrusting his work in another (NHS). On that basis, either Mr. Mansfield is suddenly going to discard his earlier (presumed) qualities of enquiry, integrity and objectivity etc when moving to a new field. Or he lacked such qualities when working in his previous field. |
