The wife and daughter went for a couple of days to Paris last w/end so I was left to fend for myself. Great I thought, I can make a yummy bacon sandwich dripping with HP without it being ruined by withering looks of disapproval. Bacon grilled, roll prepared, HP added, first bite taken. Where’s the HP I thought, I must have forgotten to add it. Opened roll, no not going do-lally, there was the sauce but where was the taste? Added lashing more and took another bite, still no real taste! Not happy. Should I add Lee & Perkins or something to woof it up or have ‘they’ mucked that up too? Beam me back to the 1970’s when food tasted of something! |
