| That £1 billion Euro transfer fee in his Contract was put out to the media last year by who ? His agent Jorge Mendes which as agents go is the norm for them to put out these kind of statements or demands for own interests. The £1 billion was mentioned again by his agent in an interview yesterday. But that £1 billion is a load of bull along with his £300m transfer fee his agent puts around. He says that the player will finish his career at Real Madrid which knowing them is less likely to happen and the longer he stays the less his fee gets and no club is going to pay that kind of money for a player who will be 35 in 5 years time. I think he will move away from the club in 5-10 years and his fee will be less than what real paid for him which is £80m. At the end of the day its all about his agent getting a better deal for his player at his current club should that arise in the near future. |
