Quite a number are former 'released' employees who are now creaming it by charging a day rate to o the same job they did when employed by Ealing. One only has to recall the failed 'Response' programme at Ealing which never launched despite employing a £90,000 p.a. manager, subsequently paid off and a whole raft of consultants to help Ealing (not) set up a 24/7 call centre which was planned to have 160 call handlers. |
