Since announcing his illustrious and highly sought-after annual awards, Bob's been swamped with votes. So he's asked me to give him a hand with the counting - hired a fleet of fork-lift trucks and trundled the ones for Battleaxe of the Year round to my place. There's billions been sent in from W4 and far and wide. So instead of counting them I've decided to put them on the scales.... After a morning 'weighing them up' the scores on the doors so far are as follows :- In first place and 'weigh' ahead of the pack is the odds-on favourite Pope Doris with about seven and a half cubic tons.. With Lorry O'Doris bringing up the 'rear' and a long 'weigh' back in second place on a healthy 13stone 8lbs 7 ounces... PS:- (all votes from residents in Acton or Ealing don't qualify and have been destroyed) :) |
