Personally, I always assume parking signs mean EXACTLY what they say. So if there are restrictions Mon-Fri, they apply whether it's a bank holiday or not. Some councils allow free parking on meters on public holidays, but you have to go and read the small print on the machines. (Some meters in K&C are free on Bank Holidays, some aren't, for example). As for yellow lines/loading bays, I'm afraid you're stuffed unless holidays are specifically excluded on the sign. Just like driving in a bus lane, actually. |
