Although the report is a bit difficult to follow I think what we will be getting is just an extension of cycle racks along the railway embankment on the south side by Turnham Green. There will be a loss of a tree and a phone box but it doesn't seem that the more radical plans to build covered cycle racks on grass areas of the park are being adopted. What is really disappointed is the lack of response to the consultation. Only just over 30 bothered to respond. Possibly not apathy as, like me, most people were probably unaware that it was taking place. Despite this a sensible decision seems to have been arrived at. |
