Not sure if other scooter users have had similar miserable experiences but some kindly soul has attempted to pinch my scooter three times in as many months. Twice they've damaged it so much it had to be recoverd to be repaired (costing £700 in total) and last time they set the alarm off before major damage was caused. I found a screw embedded in the ignition ready to be pulled out by pliers along with the ignition. It's such a pain and have now invested in a chain and padlock which hopefully will be some form of deterrent. I suspect it's just one or two individuals but for those with scooters - beware and invest in an alarm and a chain! |
