| Do you mean the work of the Chiswick agent who, after we had an offer on a flat accepted, failed to tell us that the vendor had let it? I found out from the tennants! Or perhaps you mean the work of the Chiswick agent whose staff member left the front door of our neighbours' house open after a viewing. Just as well I checked and secured it - the owners had moved to the USA. Or perhaps the Chiswick agent who told other neighbours that their house had been let to 4 professional men. Turned out the 4 men at work were from Perth, in the land down under, and were soon joined by mates sleeping on bunkbeds in the dining room and mattresses in the garage. When they weren't smashing beer bottles and urinating in the street they were playing "Aussie Rules" - the wrong-shaped ball bouncing off neighbours' car roofs... |
