It was whilst attending the fab Devonshire Road Street Party that I enquired about the well being of the Duke of York from a prominent retailer in the area.
Many will recall the Chiswick Forum meet-up at the Duke sometime back and so I was disturbed to hear from this gentleman that the DofY had gone downhill in recent times mainly due to some druggy scalleywags and more. How dreadful that a few can spoil a good venue.
Thus I'm pleased to hear from David that he had the answer to overcome those headaches. Talking of Sandhurst..a distinguished Chiswick Councillor did top time there too. Hope he pops in to meet you sometime!
