| Steps are being made to try and make all black cabs accept credit cards. This would aid safety by creating record that a journey was made and avoid people being stranded when they found themselves out without enough cash for the journey home. Many black cabs are resisting claiming that it would be too costly. The reality is that they are resistant to the change because it is a lot harder to evade tax if you are paid by credit card. |
