| To drive for Uber you need a PCO license which means you are subject to exactly the same CRB check as a black cab driver. There is therefore no argument whatsoever that you are any safer in a black cab than an Uber car. In fact it is likely that you are safer in the later in that there will be a digital record of your booking. John Warboys got away with scores of crimes because he could claim there was no evidence of him ever having picked up his victim. |
