Andy, the way you and thousands of others who should be rightly entitled to support have been treated is outrageous. The people getting the biggest benefits are not immigrants, it is the super-corporations like Serco, Capita, A4E, ATOS and G4S who are getting nearly £90 billion of state handouts to make the lives of the poor and sick a misery, fraudulently tag prisoners that don't exist, and generally mess up their contracts, all while paying (in the case of ATOS and G4S) no corporation tax whatsover. Cash paid to these companies has doubled under the coalition - it was 45 billion under Labour. http://www.ibtimes.co.uk/uk-government-outsourcing-doubles-despite-g4s-serco-atos-scandals-1455630 It is also outrageous that the problem of youth unemployment is clearly being "solved" by making young people ineligible for benefit. If they can't claim, they can't be unemployed, can they? There are no carrots with this lot (real job creation, for example) just endless sticks. |
