Glad you have got a lovely cat, Pete. But is one enough :)? Sometmes I look all over the house and garden to find my five - imho five is a good number if you have a reasonable amount of apace. I love each one with their very individual quirks to bits. And they love each other to distraction, cuddle each other, play together etc.
Jill, as per previous post, take your time. For us animal lovers (including rescue adoptees) it is a very long term commitment. The right one(s) will come along -it doesn't really matter if it is days, weeks or months. It has to be the right one as it is likely to be with you, if around, say. four when you adopt, for another 12-15 years, as you know. That is some commitment. |
