Well they didn't ask for any extra info when I phoned them this morning, they just said they would look into it, and when I spoke to the Chiswick branch last time they didn't say anything about a scam - they just apologised but wouldn't say what had happened. Who in their right mind would simply pay the few hundred pounds they say is owed when it talks about an account number that they don't have? If it is a scam it is so clever I don't know how to fall for it! |
