For the second time within a few months I have had a letter sent to my home address from Metro Bank saying they are sorry I am leaving them and that I owe them several hundred pounds. I do have an account at Metro Bank but my account is in credit, until this happened I was not planning to leave them, and the account number on the letter was one I do not have and have never had. The first time it happened they apologised but wouldn't tell me what had gone wrong. I am pretty fed up that it has happened again. They have said they will get back to me - that was this morning and I have heard nothing yet. Anyone else had any mistakes like this from Metro Bank? |
