Obviously there cannot be a bias one way or another, I cannot see why this has not been part of the so-called 'citizenship' subject matter, it is a fundamental part of how we live. You only have to see some of the people who are interviewed on the T.V. about various things in the news to know how woefully clueless a lot of people are about important current issues. You can only make informed choices with the full and proper information, getting it may be another matter, but now with this sea-change of interest we have to try while the momentum is alive. Lowering the voting age like the Scots might be a start?
