Topic: Tabby & White Cat

At the risk of being bombarded with less than constructive comments from those who are not particularly disposed to animal welfare, I  saw a tabby/white cat at the 94 terminal today, who was friendly, but painfully thin.  I would not have said it was old, but I have never seen a cat in such a condition before that I could make out its neck, ribs and spine. It was friendly, so not feral.  Does anyone know anything about this cat?  I don't like to see an animal in such a condition.  Any help much appreciated.
