| Sorry about your new specs James. I wonder if the actual depth of the new glasses is sufficient. I've worn vari-focals for years and they've been fine for everyday use and for using the computer. On my latest pair I asked for the glass area to be increased |(north to south) so to speak to provide a bigger area for each section of "vision", long, middle and near. It has been a vast improvement over my old pair. I have always had an extra pair of reading glasses as reading, half lying down, in bed it's difficult to position the specs in exactly the right place. Ensuring you're looking through the correct section of the lens is vital with vari-focals. Good luck with the final adjustments. |
