|I'm a Roko member and thus by definition haven't had any trouble cancelling :-)|
I have left at least 3 gyms in the past and never had any trouble: my guess is that you should engage in some jaw-jaw with them and not let it become a war-war.
Having said that, I agree that customer service is pretty cruddy in all gyms I have been in. Roko was better when it was new but has regressed to the mean.
