I find all the web-based mail systems unsatisfactory in one way or another. For years I've used a mail client, i.e. software on my computer that downloads and organises the mail. Originally I used Outlook Express until Microsoft renamed, redesigned and generally messed it up. I now use Thunderbird and am very happy with it. It collects my mail from Virgin Media, Gmail, and elsewhere automatically. For any missing or unsatisfactory feature, there's always an add-on that cures it. You can organise your folders in whatever way suits you. |
