I've just read a couple of reviews of that book Stu and may well give it a read.I have a very good old school friend, now living in Brisbane who has 'the black dog' and has had therapy and drug treatments for many a year. Anything that will help me to understand will be useful as it's sometimes very difficult to even know what to say to someone who says they are depressed and there being more than one type of that curse makes it even harder. I also have a friend who is bi-polar, formerly referred to as manic depression and that seems a whole different ball game to how my friend in Australia suffers. Thanks for the heads up on this book.
