I think that's a lovely idea Charlotte, and will do my best to go. I find it extraordinary how begrudging some people are of animals' war efforts (afterall, it was not their war and they died in their millions), and particularly odd how they seem to think one has to support either one camp or the other. I recently lost my war veteran grandfather who had a hideous experience as a 19 year old in WW2, and he would have been the first to advocate celebrating the efforts and sacrifices made by animals during the various wars. Good for you, Charlotte, I hope you have a good turn out. |
