| Sadly, Andy was (poorly) selective in his choice of statistics. In London, the figure is 27 per cent, which is more than double the 12 per cent of the capital’s population who are Muslim. In two prisons, Feltham and Isis, a third of the inmates were Muslim. The data was obtained by Sadiq Khan, the lawyer and shadow justice secretary who is himself a Muslim. The other FACT is that 13% of the UK prison population is Muslim (source MofJ's own statistics) greatly disproportionate to the 4% of the population who claim to be followers of Islam. These are FACTS from unimpeachable sources; unpalatable as they may be to those who bleat 'racist' every time an ethnic minority is shown in a poor light. |
