| this is definitely in my book THE restaurant to support in W4, everytime i have been it has always been delicious and outstanding but i have always worried about there not being that many patrons but then i love fish (not a meat eater) and i guess you have had to be sure that your lunch/dinner compaignons feel the same so i can see that the move to offer meat dishes will help i didn't know that Michael is ex-Trompette but would have described his dishes as of the same standard and deliousness as Trompette, just with a slighty fresher, lighter & more modern edge to it - and you taste the love with which he cooked it too & it is incredible value for money the service has always been spot on for me ,and maybe the refurb has added a little more ambience too but 10 out of 10 from me for the food (and value for money) alone ! it is a little gem which has maybe hidden its light under a bushel, i sincerely hope it will survive the economic climate ! |
