| I did this years ago when I was involved in a car accident in France, having left my Health card at home. I wrote to the NHS with the hospital bill and months later received about 80% of the cost. My parents (I was a teenager at the time) had to pay the hospital, though. The system has probably changed now, but worth a try. |
