| Has anyone else locally been affected by early morning personal training sessions taking place in a residential garden now that "summer" is here. Sessions are starting from around 6:30am on weekdays and 7:30am on Saturdays. The noise carries across a large number of surrounding gardens, including talking, instructions, exercise noise, and general customer activity. They did it whole of last summer too, and its really annoying especially on Saturday or Sunday to be woken by. This is not normal household noise or background road noise. It is a regular paid activity being run outdoors at a time when most neighbours are still at home, resting, or trying to enjoy having windows open during the summer. Many neighbours now feel they have to keep their back windows closed, which seems unreasonable when the sessions could be held indoors, especially where an indoor training space or shed is available. The issue is not with someone exercising. The concern is the timing, frequency, and the fact that a business activity is being conducted outside so early in a residential area. Has anyone dealt with a similar situation before, and what would be the best way to raise it properly without causing unnecessary conflict? |
