| I hadn't realised how many THOUSANDS of women this had happened to and the callous and cruel way so many were treated whilst pregnant, whilst giving birth as well as afterwards just because of not being married. It wasn't simply a matter of being sent away from home for a while which is how it is often portrayed. It is a matter that is still very obviously painful for many. |
