Secondly, can you explain the attitude of Hounslow Council to the clubhouse? On the one hand they do seem to have been generous in setting aside a huge sum for rebuilding and it is not unreasonable for them to say that construction costs have made previous plans unviable. On the other hand, why on earth did they move so quickly on the eviction of the clubs using the facility and the demolition without a firm plan in place for rebuilding? |
