People get used to travelling in one way and when there are changes they can be really difficult to deal with/get used to. It would be good if more proactive help was offered to those who insist on carrying on being independent for as long as they can be! They may well not be able to find stuff online - or have a phone which tells them the time of the next bus. I find the increased info at the bus stops good but it will be even better with more of those computer info boards that can tell you if there is a change of route due to roadworks etc! The resumption of the 60+ card was something in Boris Johnson's manifesto. |
