| The £84m cost for last year appears to be based on the assumption that every journey made using the card would have been made and paid for even if the card was not available. This is not a sensible assumption. Perhaps the notional cost of the card usage could be taxed? The cost of the card is now £35 perhaps this should be an annual charge like Senior's Railcard? |
